Droylsden occurs as town in Tameside, Greater Manchester, England, with the population of around 25,000 people.
It grew in a area of the cotton mills established in the mid-nineteenth century, and a Ashton and Peak Forest Canals. These are a at home of the far-famed Robertson's Jam factory.
A late previous Communist Party of Great Britain leader Harry Pollitt was born in the town. The plaque affixed to Droylsden Library was unveiled in March 22nd 1995 per City manager of Tameside, Council member Patrick cooper Haslam, to commemorate his life.
Droylsden is too personal to Droylsden F.C. who play in Conference North.
